Prof. Zhonghua Pang

North China University of Technology, China

Biography:

Zhonghua Pang, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, School of Electrical and Control Engineering (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle School), North China University of Technology, and Professor at the Beijing Key Laboratory of Cooperative and Autonomous Air-Ground Traffic Intelligent Control Technology. He has been listed among the Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide (2024). He serves as Secretary of the Technical Committee on Networked Control Systems and Applications, IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) and is a Senior Member of IEEE. His main research areas include networked control, UAV formation control, and CPS security control. He has published 1 English monograph, 3 Chinese books, and over 140 academic papers, with 100+ indexed by SCI/EI, including 7 ESI Hot/Highly Cited Papers. He holds 17 authorized national invention patents and 8 software copyrights. He has led 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, 1 Beijing Natural Science Foundation-Fengtai Joint Key Project, 3 Beijing Natural Science Foundation General Projects, 5 other provincial/ministerial-level projects, 1 open project from a State Key Laboratory, 2 open funds from MOE Key Laboratories, 1 open fund project from a CAS Key Laboratory, and multiple industry-funded projects. Additionally, he has participated in 1 National Key R&D Program of China, 1 NSFC Major International Cooperation Project, and 2 NSFC General Projects.

Prof. Chuan Ding

Beihang University, China

Biography:

Professor Chuan Ding, doctoral supervisor and national young talent, currently serves as Executive Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Intelligent Transportation Technology and Systems. He earned his PhD from Harbin Institute of Technology, with joint training at the University of Maryland, USA, and completed postdoctoral research at Hong Kong Baptist University. His research focuses on road traffic system modeling and operation control, including built environment and travel, intelligent vehicle-road coordination, multi-agent traffic simulation, and energy-integrated traffic systems. He has published over 50 SCI/SSCI papers (8 ESI highly cited), authored key monographs, and led multiple national and provincial research projects. His work has received top awards from ministries of housing, transportation, and education. He is Associate Editor of *Transportation Research Part D* and *IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems*, holds editorial roles in leading Chinese journals, and chairs technical committees in major international transportation conferences. Recognized globally among top 2% scientists and awarded various youth talent honors in transportation and urban science.

Prof. Peiqun Lin

South China University of Technology, China

Biography:

Peiqun Lin (born 1980, Raoping, Guangdong), Ph.D., Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, currently serves as Director of the Department of Transportation Engineering at South China University of Technology (SCUT), where he leads both the Big Data & Traffic Network Analysis Laboratory and the Intelligent Connected Transportation Systems Laboratory. Recognized as an Outstanding Young Teacher in Guangdong Province and recipient of the Guangdong Higher Education Outstanding Youth Innovation Talent Cultivation Program, he was also selected as a university-level candidate in Guangdong's "Thousand-Hundred-Ten" Talent Development Program. With over 50 publications in prestigious journals including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Transportation Research, and China Journal of Highway and Transport, his work has been indexed over 60 times in SCI/EI databases. He has led five National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, comprising two General Projects, one Youth Project, one sub-project of a Major Program, and one sub-project of a General Project.

Prof. Lemen Chao

Renmin University of China, China

Biography:

Prof. Lemen Chao, male, professor and doctoral advisor. Distinguished Young Scholar at Renmin University of China, Chair of the Intelligent Digital Integration Committee of the World Federation of Young Scientists, Alibaba Cloud Most Valuable Technology Expert, Deputy Director of the Smart City Research Center and Intelligent Information Analysis Center at Renmin University of China, Distinguished Member and Executive Committee member of the China Computer Federation, Deputy Director of the Expert Committee of the National AI and Big Data Innovation Alliance in Higher Education, and Expert member of multiple professional committees in software and digital education. Associate Editor of Data Science and Informetrics, Editorial Board member of Data Intelligence, and editorial roles in leading Chinese journals Computer Science and Library and Information Service. He has received over 30 awards, including the Ministry of Education’s First Prize for Scientific Research, Beijing’s First Prize for Teaching Innovation, IBM Global Excellence in Teaching Award, and several national awards in big data and AI education. Chaolemen has led over ten key research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and others, and participated in major national science and technology programs. He authored China’s first comprehensive data science monograph, Data Science (Tsinghua University Press, 2016). His textbook Data Science Theory and Practice (2nd ed.) was named a High-Quality Textbook by Beijing’s Education Commission in 2019. His course Introduction to Data Science is a National First-class Undergraduate Course, awarded Beijing’s top teaching innovation prize.
